Welcome to my new blog. At the age of 53 I sold my family condo and retired to travel the world with only a carry-on and a backpack

 

Over the past twenty years I've traveled to  thirty-five countries on six continents and explored forty-two US states. Camping in the Alaskan wilderness, exploring the Kremlin, the sights and sounds of the Moroccan souks, 26-mile hike to Machu Picchu, snorkeling in the Galapagos, the eerie quietness of Culloden battlefield, visiting the land of hobbits, exploring Buddhist temples, seeing the Wilderbeest Migration in the Serengeti. The list is endless.
